I went to an AFL game on Saturday 21st of June to see my favourite team, The Kangaroos play and they won by 27 points. It was a great day.

SOLVE-IT #5 The Ping Pongers

Yolanda, her brother Bradley, her daughter Didi and her son Simon all love to play ping pong, or table tennis. The four of them are about to play a game:

2. Yolanda's son is diagonally across the net from the worst player's sibling.

3. The best player and the worst player are on the same side of the pingpong table.

Who is the best player?? What is your answer?

A sloth is out for a walk when he's mugged by four snails. After recovering his wits, he goes to make a police report. "Can you describe the snails?" asks the officer. "Not well, it all happened so fast," replies the sloth.

People are spending less time outside today than ever before. Many believe that children will care less about nature, animals and wildlife when they grow up because they spend too much time in indoors or doing scheduled activities.

One group, the National Wildlife Federation proposes that kids 'unplug' from TV and computers -- except for Compass KidZ visits ;-) -- and 'plug in' to nature. They want children to take a daily "Green Hour", unstructured time to play and interact with the natural world. In that way children will stay connected to the wonder of nature.

What do you think about that idea? Do YOU spend time outside enjoying the natural world? What do you most like to do outdoors?.
