It looks blue, but it's green!

The 2008 Olympics begin on August 8 in Beijing, China. The National Aquatic Centre, also known as the ‘Water Cube', will host the swimming, diving and water-polo events. Not only does it look amazing-- the translucent structure of foam bubbles is its inspiration-- but it is very energy efficient. The Water Cube will be modified as a recreation center for Beijing residents after the Olympics are over.
